Research and ideas

I watched the movie for some inspiration. I did a few drawings, however i will not be using them because the poster is based on the book of Alice in wonderland not the film.
Some visuals that stuck out to me...

Bright blue is a continuous colour used through out the film. This is very unnatural and surreal choice. A good colour pallet to use for a story set in a dream, i think.


I know the drawing is unfinished, but I like the cat in them movie and wanted to demonstrate the colour palette used for eyes and stripes.
