ADVERTISEMENT DESIGN ON BACK
I have distributed the information of each nightclub equally to the same layout. I thought halo had the most sticking logo so placed their information at the bottom and gave the O2 logo a more prime position. From my research it appears 'evolution' has the cheapest prices and best deals for students and considering it is not located in the center of Leeds and relies on advertisement for customers, I thought this nightclub should take top of the page.

More designs
I have taken a different design approach with this flyer, just some experimentation really. I don't think it works as well as the others, the use of to many layers now makes the image appear very 'flat'.

This version is looking a bit more 3D using the black space better. However the type is a let down.

Set of three
Looking back over the designs I think these are working best as a set. I still need to make some changes, theres too much shading, when I come to print these are going to come out very dark! Also I need to pick some better fonts, I'm considering doing some hand drawn type. Need to work on communicating a nightclub vibe! What is going on the back of them???

Quick Halloween night club flyer brief (1 week)

I took plenty of photos over the Halloween weekend. Some of them have come out quite well and so thought I could use them in a brief. I wanted to get another persons opinion so spoke to Joe today. He said it's a good idea if you want to improve your photoshop skills, however try and do something original and 'classy'. I should see this brief as a quick turn around and spend no more then a week on it.
The flyer above is just an example of how most Halloween nightclub events are advertised. Mine will contain similar information however hopefully less 'tacky' and childish. With better consideration to colour, type and layout, intended for a higher end nightclub.
I'm going to use this brief as an opportunity to experiment with photoshop, separating figures/objects from the background. Colour effects, lighting, textures and filters.
